Chintai Blockchain

What is a blockchain?

A blockchain is a digital ledger comprising a complete record that is duplicated and distributed within a given network of computer systems, and enables mass scalable secure data transfers. These transactions are publicly verifiable and cryptographically secure.

Why is Chintai building on eosio software?

It’s the most powerful DLT on the market in terms of performance, scalability and flexibility. We need a system that can process 1000’s of transactions a second. Additionally, the permission structure is an essential part of keeping all actions on chain or our compliance framework.

What's Chintai's relation to the EOS mainnet?

We’re a business that uses EOSIO software. We’ve contributed to the network upgrades on EOS and provided tools that allow the network to operate more efficiently. We also operate a validator node called “EOS42”.

Will Chintai explore opportunities on non-eosio blockchains?

Absolutely. In a world where standards, developer communities and money will ultimately determine which businesses are most successful, we need to stay open minded and embrace interconnection regardless of protocols. We also plan to use blockchains like ETH for securing our own transactions via blockheaders.

We will in the long term provide token bridges to any blockchain to allow a token to exist across the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem in the form of a derivative.
